Father Paul Soper and Father Bob Blaney are serving as co-pastors for St. Margaret Mary Parish and St. Denis Parish in Westwood.
Father Paul also serves as Secretary for Evangelization and Discipleship for the Archdiocese of Boston, as well as the Director of Pastoral Planning. Ordained in 1990, he served in a variety of Parish and Campus Ministry positions until 2012, when he was called by Cardinal Seán to lead the consultation around Disciples in Mission, and, eventually, its implementation. He enjoys hobby electronics, reading, computer programming, crossword puzzles, and recreational mathematics.
Father Bob also serves as the Secretary for Ministerial Personnel for the Archdiocese of Boston, as well as the Director of Clergy Personnel and Ongoing Formation for Priests. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese in 1992. He has served in a number of Parish positions, as well as in the Vocations Office. He is a native of Quincy, Massachusetts, and has many cousins on both sides of the Atlantic. He enjoys reading, especially history, as well as long, reflective walks. He is also an enthusiastic observer of weather and all things relating to avionics.
